Managed Merch Store Pricing
Abundios builds, operates and maintains your branded merchandise store. Choose the level that fits your organization.
Managed stores start at $2,500 for Essentials (up to 20 launch products), $4,500 for Professional (up to 40 launch products, multiple buyer groups and a launch promotion kit), and $7,500 for Custom programs. Standalone Store Builds start at $7,500. Managed-to-standalone conversions start at $5,000 and require a separate build and migration proposal.
Essentials: a fully managed branded store for one audience. Professional: several audiences, locations or buyer groups, with custom collections and a launch promotion kit. Custom: multi-store, multi-location or multi-brand programs, advanced purchasing rules, larger catalogs and integrations as scoped.
A standard Essentials store launches about two weeks after all required materials and approvals are received. Professional and Custom timelines are confirmed in your proposal.
Starting prices cover implementation. Final pricing depends on products, design requirements, buyer groups, integrations, purchasing rules and complexity. Additional products beyond your tier are quoted separately.
Ongoing management for all managed stores: 40% management markup on base production cost, with a $250 monthly minimum credited dollar for dollar by qualifying earned markup.
Standalone Merch Store Builds include strategy, configuration, product setup, production integration, payment and shipping setup, basic purchasing automations, testing, training, documentation, handoff and 30 days of post-launch support. After handoff, your organization owns and operates the store and pays ongoing operating expenses; continued support and additional scope are quoted separately.

How Managed Store Pricing Works
Abundios operates the merchandise store and adds a 40% management markup to the base production cost of each product.
Base production cost: what it costs to make the item
Managed product price: base production cost plus a 40% management markup
Retail price: the public price you help set
You keep the difference between the retail price and the managed price, minus applicable transaction expenses.
The 40% is a markup on the base production cost. It is not 40% of the retail price.
The retail price must cover the managed product price and leave room for your organization's proceeds. Shipping, taxes, payment-processing charges, refunds, discounts and other applicable expenses may affect final proceeds.
Each managed store has a $250 monthly management minimum.
The management markup Abundios earns on qualifying orders is credited toward the minimum dollar for dollar. If the store earns at least $250 in management markup during the month, nothing more is due. If it earns less, your organization pays only the difference.
Proceeds are paid on the 15th of the following month. If the 15th falls on a weekend or banking holiday, payment is issued the next business day. Sales must complete the applicable processing, fulfillment, refund and reconciliation period before they are included in a payout.

Monthly Management Minimum
Each managed store has a $250 monthly management minimum.
The management markup Abundios earns on qualifying orders is credited toward the minimum dollar for dollar. If the store earns at least $250 in management markup during the month, nothing more is due. If it earns less, your organization pays only the difference.
Because the markup equals 40% of base production cost, about $625 in combined base production costs generates $250 in management markup. For example, about 42 items with a $15 production cost selling at $30 equals about $1,260 in retail sales and $252 in markup. Results vary by product and price, and sales are not guaranteed.
The monthly minimum is not an additional fixed fee, a subscription, a commission or a cap on sales. Markup above the minimum is retained by Abundios and is not credited to a future month.
Payment Flow
- A customer places an order through your branded store.
- The store collects the customer's payment.
- Production and fulfillment costs are paid to the production provider.
- Taxes, payment-processing fees, discounts, refunds and other applicable expenses are accounted for.
- Abundios retains its 40% markup on the product's base production cost.
- The $250 monthly management minimum is reconciled.
- Your organization's remaining proceeds are calculated.
- Your organization receives its monthly payout and statement.
Authorized Organizational Purchases
Authorized pricing is applied automatically through approved customer accounts, customer tags, store segments or discount rules. The exact method depends on your store configuration.
Store Ownership
With a managed store, Abundios owns and operates the storefront, ecommerce configuration, automations and operating system used to deliver the service. Your organization keeps its name, trademarks, logos and original designs.
It works much like leasing a professionally operated retail space: your organization gets its own branded store without building or running the system behind it.
Either party may end managed service with 90 days' written notice. When managed service ends, your organization keeps its eligible brand assets and original design files as provided in the agreement. The storefront, account configuration, automations and templates are not transferred.
If your organization wants to own and operate its store, choose the Standalone Store Build.
Your store needs an audience.
Abundios builds and operates the store, but your organization needs to tell people about it consistently: through your website, emails, social media, employee communications, events, recruiting materials and other channels. Without promotion, a store is unlikely to generate meaningful sales or proceeds.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Can drivers' families order too? Yes. You choose who can shop: drivers and employees only, drivers and their families, or customers and the public.
- How much does a managed merch store cost? Managed stores start at $2,500 for Essentials (up to 20 launch products), $4,500 for Professional (up to 40 launch products, multiple buyer groups and a launch promotion kit), and $7,500 for Custom programs. Abundios also earns a 40% markup on each product's base production cost, with a $250 monthly minimum per store.
- How long does setup take? A standard Essentials store is usually ready about two weeks after we receive your logos, brand information, approvals, product selections and account information. Professional and Custom timelines are confirmed in your proposal.
- Do we need to keep inventory? No. Products are made when ordered and shipped directly to the buyer. Your team doesn't stock or pack routine orders.
- Who sets the retail prices? Abundios works with your organization to set retail prices that cover the managed product price and leave room for your proceeds, while staying reasonable for your audience. Prices are subject to Abundios' minimum sustainable price and final approval.
- How does the $250 monthly minimum work? The markup Abundios earns on qualifying orders is credited toward the $250 minimum. If the store earns less than $250 in markup in a month, your organization pays only the difference. It is not a fee on top of sales or a cap on sales.
- Can our organization buy merchandise at a lower price? Yes. Authorized representatives buy at the managed product price instead of the retail price. Your organization doesn't earn proceeds on its own purchases, and the markup counts toward the monthly minimum.
- When do we get paid? Proceeds are paid on the 15th of the following month with a detailed statement. If the 15th falls on a weekend or banking holiday, payment is issued the next business day.
- Are shipping and taxes included? Unless your proposal says otherwise, shipping, taxes, payment-processing fees and special production charges are separate from product pricing.
- Who owns the store? With a managed store, Abundios owns and operates the storefront and the system behind it. Your organization keeps its name, logos, trademarks and original designs.
- Can we take over our managed store later? The managed store is part of the Abundios operating system and isn't transferred when service ends. If your organization later wants its own independently operated store, Abundios can provide a separate build and migration proposal. Managed-to-standalone conversions start at $5,000 and depend on the store's size, products, custom features, data and integrations. This may require building a new store owned by your organization.
- Why is there a setup fee if Abundios also earns from the store? The setup fee pays for planning, building, configuring, testing and launching your store. The ongoing markup pays for running it after launch.
- Why does the standalone store cost more? With a managed store, Abundios keeps operating the store and earns ongoing management revenue. With a standalone build, your organization receives the finished store, documentation and training, and takes full responsibility after handoff.
- Do you guarantee sales? No. Abundios builds and operates the store, but your organization needs to promote it to your employees, customers, members, supporters, families or community. Abundios may offer promotional recommendations, and the Professional tier includes a launch promotion kit, but sales are never guaranteed.
- What about large orders? Orders of 1,000 or more units of the same product and design are custom quoted and may require full payment or a deposit before production.
- How do we end service? Either party may end managed service with 90 days' written notice. The storefront is not transferred.
